**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to independently troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment. The role requires working on the 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM, with approximately 5 hours of overtime weekly. Responsibilities + Ensure machinery operates at optimal efficiency through effective management, preventive maintenance, and problem-solving. + Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the event of breakdowns. + Assist with line changeover in bakery and packaging rooms as necessary. + Support the baker and supervisor during the start-up of ovens. + Work with electrical motors/drives and perform electrical troubleshooting. + Weld as needed (preferred but not required). + Conduct general preventive maintenance, including lubrication and adjustments on all equipment. + Follow daily project lists provided by the Maintenance Supervisor. + Adhere to company safety procedures per OSHA regulations. + Ensure quality and food safety tasks are completed effectively. + Collaborate with management and fellow associates to uphold Food Safety programs. Essential Skills + Basic knowledge of electrical systems (AC/DC motors, 3-phase wiring), hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and mechanical maintenance. + Experience with industrial mechanical/electrical systems and hydraulic/pneumatic repair. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair food processing equipment. + Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools. + Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights of up to 30 ft. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in industrial maintenance mechanics is preferred. + Ability to tolerate warm working temperatures and enclosed work areas. + Skills to read, write, speak, and understand sufficient English for effective communication. + Adaptability to make changes quickly and accurately. + Use of non-slip shoes required. Work Environment The role is based in a food processing plant that adheres to GMP standards, providing a clean and temperature-controlled environment. The technician must wear boots, clean working clothes, and all necessary PPE. The environment includes various levels of noise exposure and requires heavy lifting up to 75 pounds. Temperatures can reach up to 130 degrees in the Oven Room, with moderate exposure to chemicals. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lititz, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
