Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various shop equipment and facility systems. Your primary focus will be on preventative maintenance, with a significant portion of your time dedicated to troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. You will ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely, adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities

Perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance on CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, and other shop equipment.Maintain facility systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and compressed air.Keep accurate maintenance logs and records.Work directly with machinists to identify potential issues or improvements and communicate them to management.Read and create work orders.Read and understand technical documentation, including drawings and blueprints.Adhere to OSHA, ISO, and company safety standards.Assist with machine and equipment installation.Manage waste generated from machines.

Essential Skills

Electrical troubleshooting, including 480v systems.Mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Experience with motors and gearboxes.Ability to perform preventive maintenance.Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.5 years of industrial maintenance experience.Experience with CNC troubleshooting and Fanuc controls is a plus.Possession of a Journeyman card is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a custom machine shop environment with a job shop production setup. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm, with optional extended hours to 4:30pm. Be open to working Saturdays if needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Perrysburg, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00/yr.

The company has great benefits: $15 for single plan, $32 for family of two and $45 for a family. They also give a Christmas bonus each year.

This is a fully onsite position in Perrysburg,OH.
