Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair, with a focus on hydraulics and pneumatics. You will also engage in blueprint and schematic reading, PLC troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair focusing on hydraulics and pneumatics (60%).Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair (40%).Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.Troubleshoot and repair PLCs to maintain system functionality.Execute preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime.Essential Skills
At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.Proficiency in handling 480 volt 3 phase electrical systems.Expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics.Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.Possession of a journeyman license, card, or certification.Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and knowledge of programmable logic controllers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman card or equivalent certification.Experience with PLC troubleshooting, particularly with Siemens systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in a fast-paced and somewhat challenging environment within a cast iron foundry. The facility is large and can be somewhat dirty, dark, loud, and hot. Shifts are structured as B Shift (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday from 7PM to 7:20AM) and D Shift (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 7PM to 7:20AM), with additional pay for second and third shift hours. The team maintains a strong sense of urgency, prioritizing efficiency and teamwork to meet the high demands of our clientele, including major automotive brands like BMW, Chevy, Ford, and Cadillac.
