Our client, manufacturer of specialty mineral and chemical additives is seeking maintenance technicians to join their team. **Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Location: News Castle, DE** **Pay Range: $25-$30** **Shift: M-F 7am-3:30pm** **What’s the Job?** + Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings. + Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical problems. Observes machines in operation and uses diagnostic skills to locate and make repairs. + Conducts equipment repairs in a timely manner to maintain operational efficiency. + Performs light fabrication and welding as needed. + Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipates and solves problems in a timely manner, and identifies opportunities for improvement. **What’s Needed?** + High school graduate or GED equivalent with strong math skills. + Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders. + Demonstrate mechanical aptitude. + Forklift Certified or experience. + Supply Chain Management or a related field is a plus. **What’s in it for me?** + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, paid vacation, and 401K.
