**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical malfunctions, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment functions efficiently. The ideal candidate will apply their expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to maintain our high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities + Diagnose causes of electrical or mechanical malfunctions or failures in operational equipment. + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance by testing, observing, and listening to mechanical devices. + Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts, adjust functional parts of devices, and repair and replace defective parts. + Lubricate and clean parts and equipment according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers’ specifications. + Examine and inspect parts for imperfections and changes in dimensional requirements using measuring instruments. + Set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. + Apply basic electrical knowledge to test and diagnose malfunctions in electrical equipment. + Complete training on new and existing equipment and use applicable reference materials. + Initiate purchase requisitions for parts and equipment as needed. + Use safe working practices and perform work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. + Comply with all quality and ISO standards and follow good housekeeping practices. Essential Skills + Electrical troubleshooting + Mechanical maintenance + Hydraulics and pneumatics + Preventive maintenance + PLC troubleshooting + 3-phase electrical systems Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in HVAC and electronics is beneficial but not required. + General knowledge in mechanical, electrical, electronics, HVAC, and hydraulics.
