**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain all facility equipment in proper and safe operating condition to minimize downtime for operations. The position involves performing repairs and preventive maintenance on various systems and equipment including conveyor systems, lift trucks, powered equipment, dock plates, trailer restraints, and overhead doors. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facility electrical and lighting systems, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems. The role also includes interior finish work such as painting and drywall repairs.
Responsibilities
+ Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems.
+ Conduct repairs and maintenance on lift trucks and powered equipment.
+ Maintain dock plates, trailer restraints, and overhead doors.
+ Repair and modify facility electrical and lighting systems.
+ Perform HVAC system repairs and maintenance, including rooftop units.
+ Utilize Parts Manuals and CMMS software to identify and locate required parts.
+ Conduct interior finish work and repairs, including painting and drywall.
+ Perform plumbing repairs, including commercial restroom fixtures.
+ Maintain large stationary air compressors and air distribution pipes.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in conveyor systems and 3-phase wiring.
+ Proficiency in HVAC maintenance and mechanical repair.
+ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting and hydraulics.
+ Ability to perform maintenance and repair on motors and pneumatics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Excellent troubleshooting skills.
+ Minimum of one year of experience in industrial maintenance areas such as conveyor systems, lift trucks, and facility electrical systems.
+ Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
+ Must supply own basic hand tools; specialized tools and test equipment will be provided.

Work Environment
The position offers two shifts: a 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 4 PM - 12:30 AM, with a $1 shift differential, and a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 12-hour shifts from 6 AM - 6:30 PM, with a $2.50 shift differential. Training will occur on the first shift, Monday to Thursday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM, for 4-5 months, depending on experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brownsburg, Indiana.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

**Workplace Type**
