Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** Job Description Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. You will be responsible for both planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems. Your expertise will help maintain a continuous supply of essential utilities such as heat, steam, cooling, and electrical power. Responsibilities + Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements on production, packaging, and utility systems. + Be readily available for emergency repairs, analyze and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Complete work orders in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards. + Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees regarding any issues affecting production efficiency. + Report unsafe conditions and food safety violations to management. + Comply with HACCP and GMP protocols for production and ensure safe work practices at all times. + Maintain good housekeeping in the work area. + Perform other tasks as negotiated with the supervisor. + Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays. + Pull wire, terminate circuits, troubleshoot PLC's (I/O, not programs), and work with limit switches. Essential Skills + 2+ years maintenance experience, preferably in a GMP regulated environment. + 2+ years troubleshooting mechanical issues. + Electrical and ammonia experience is required. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. + Mechanical aptitude and understanding of preventive maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with GMP and HACCP protocols. + Experience in a GMP regulated environment is preferred. + Blueprint reading experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
