**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed corrugating machinery, including printing presses, die-cutting, flexogluing, and packaging machines. This role involves preventative maintenance, such as oiling, lubricating, and greasing parts, as well as utilizing blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for troubleshooting. Technicians will employ hand and power tools, including voltmeters and electrical testing tools, to complete repairs and perform general building maintenance. Responsibilities + Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed corrugating machinery. + Perform preventative maintenance, including oiling, lubricating, and greasing parts. + Utilize blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for troubleshooting. + Employ hand and power tools, such as voltmeters and electrical testing tools, for repairs. + Carry out general building maintenance duties. Essential Skills + 3+ years of entry-level automotive experience or equivalent trade school experience. + Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot to the root cause. + Experience with PLC, motors, pneumatics, hydraulic systems, and printing presses. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 5 years of mechanical/electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment is preferred. + Trade schooling is an advantage. + Willingness to work weekend shifts. Work Environment Our spacious facility is open and organized, though not temperature-controlled. Maintenance Technicians are required to work weekend shifts, with openings on both Saturday to Tuesday and Thursday to Sunday schedules. Overtime, including some Saturdays, may be required as the facility continues to expand. Personal protective equipment is provided, and employees must be comfortable wearing safety gear, such as hard hats and safety vests. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
