Mechanic will be required to be able to work with a team and alone as needed. The mechanic must fill out daily work orders and submit them so they can be logged. Required to service the plants, dust collectors, and pumps when scheduled. Mechanic is considered mobile, and required to drive to various locations to perform maintenance functions. They will drive to Nokomis plant every day, pick up service truck, perform daily functions, then return to Nokomis site to drop off service truck and go home.\n\nElectrical:\n-480, 240 three phase\n-120, 240, 480-volt control voltage\n-Relays\n-Starters, overloads, and transformers\n\nConveyors\n-Tracking, splicing, and installing 24\", 30\", and 36\" belts\n-Installing trail pulleys, bearings, head pulleys and gear boxes\n\nAir Compressors\n-Inspecting\n-Service on the compressors\n-Replacing the fingers in the head as needed\n-Dryers and auto drains\n\nSolenoids:\n-Parker, Mack, Asco, and others\n-Rebuild, replace, and troubleshoot\n\nGates:\n-Butterfly gates on the silos and water - mostly Bray\n-Clamshell on the aggregate gates\n\nSilo Material Handling:\n-Aeration blowers, powdered product, screws/air slides, shutoff slide plates\n\nWater Pumps:\n-Install, maintain, and troubleshoot\n-Seal installation\n-Float valves\n-Suction lines\n\nWelding/Cutting:\n-Oxygen and acetylene torch\n-MIG and Stick welding

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
