Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Odon, IN | up to $35/hr | 3rd shift 2/2/3

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift in Odon, IN. The primary focus of this role will be the electrical and mechanical repair of production machinery, specifically servicing large extrusion machines and blown film production equipment to minimize downtime and scrap. This position involves consistent equipment inspection and upgrading of production lines as required for repairs and installations.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled and directed by the Team Leader.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment within the manufacturing facility.Convert/upgrade production lines or support equipment as required for repairs, upgrades, and/or installations.Weld together metal parts and equipment pieces as needed.Work overtime as required.Rotate on-call schedule with maintenance staff.Order parts as needed for service.

Essential Skills

2-4 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, specifically with drives, motors, and belts.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including 480v motors and drives.Mechanical troubleshooting skills, such as changing bearings and leveling machinery.Basic knowledge of PLCs for diagnostic purposes.Experience with pneumatics and hydraulic systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

PLC troubleshooting skills are a plus.Experience with maintenance repair and electrical maintenance.Capability to install and repair industrial machinery.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64147.20 - $72467.20/yr.
