**Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Starting at $23-27/hour)** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance of rental properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet the needs of tenants. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will be tasked with a variety of maintenance duties across multiple properties. **Responsibilities** + Perform painting, appliance installation, and basic plumbing repairs. + Manage garbage and trash disposal, and conduct caulking, trim, and grout tasks. + Repair walls, decks, light fixtures, GFI installations, and door hanging. + Conduct simple rubber membrane roof repairs and change locks. + Carry out basic masonry and concrete work, and board up windows as needed. + Take care of lawn maintenance and preventative maintenance, including common area cleanup. + Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot maintenance issues. **Essential Skills** + At least three years of property maintenance experience. + Knowledge of HVAC systems, vinyl plank flooring installation, and carpentry. + Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders. + Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner with tenants, visitors, and coworkers. + Strong problem-solving skills and effective time management. + Ability to follow oral and written instructions. + Proficiency in utilizing technology required for the position. + Willingness to work flexible hours and travel within the Mon Valley area. **Work Environment** Work within residential and apartment complexes, multi-unit homes located in Swissvale, Rankin, Clairton, East Pittsburgh, Charleroi, and Homestead area. The role involves frequent standing, walking, verbal communications, including telephone contact, and travel between facilities. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $56160.00/yr.
