Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team for the 2nd Shift. You will begin training on the 1st Shift to familiarize yourself with our equipment and processes. The role involves maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Analyze and repair mechanical systems, identifying potential future issues.Analyze and repair electrical systems, identifying potential future issues.Install and relocate equipment and machinery using safe handling practices.Analyze and repair pneumatic systems, identifying potential future issues.Select, use, and safely handle hand tools, measuring devices, and power tools.Troubleshoot and repair all CNC and pneumatic equipment on production lines.Troubleshoot and repair basic computer issues.Install and set up new machinery.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.Move and set up production lines.

Essential Skills

Knowledge in troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely.Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Experience in CNC and pneumatic equipment repair.Basic computer troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment

The facility is large and not climate-controlled, but measures are in place to maintain comfortable temperatures throughout the year. You will work around glass, and there might be exposure to glass particles during cutting processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kinston, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
