Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment installation.

ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain machinery such as solution pumps, hoists, hot water boilers, air compressed equipment, and production machines.Maintain and troubleshoot solution tank control equipment, replace electrical units, and upgrade to new locations when required.Identify equipment malfunctions, isolate failure mechanisms, and repair equipment in the most cost-effective manner.Perform preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.Install and remove process equipment as needed.Provide daily equipment functioning activity information.Disassemble instruments and equipment, inspect components for defects, align, repair, replace, and balance component parts and circuitry.Assist engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair, and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.
Essential SkillsProficiency in mechanical maintenance and repair.Experience with electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.Ability to read and understand schematics.Skilled in hydraulics and pneumatics.Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in preventive maintenance.Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.Proficient in daily reporting and documentation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
