As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all general maintenance projects, both preventative and emergency. You will operate and test filling equipment, pumps, mixers, compressors, labelers, and sleeving equipment. You will also play a critical role in developing and administering the Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule and updating PM checklists in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Coordinator.
ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance projects, both preventative and emergency.Operate and test filling equipment, pumps, mixers, compressors, labelers, and sleeving equipment.Assist in the development and administration of PM schedules.Update PM checklists and maintain records in accordance with production department and GMP requirements.Develop a complete library of parts and operating manuals for equipment and plant.Manage maintenance tools and parts inventory.Recommend and cost equipment and parts for PM projects.Operate heavy equipment such as fork trucks.Use power tools including drills, saws, and grinders.Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and facilities.
Essential SkillsFlexible and adaptable in performing a wide range of maintenance duties.Experience in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system repairs and maintenance.General math skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.General computer and email proficiency.5+ years of maintenance experience.5+ years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with high-speed net weigh fillers, automated cappers, close tolerance gear-driven pump fillers, pressure-sensitive and auto sleeve labelers and printers, automated palletizing equipment, and automated carton forming and case packing equipment is highly desirable.Experience with 24 VDC low voltage, circuit boards, and servo motors.

Work Environment
The second shift runs from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime available on Saturdays. Work in a climate-controlled environment that maintains cleanliness, although it may be slightly dusty around machinery due to powder handling.
