Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will support production by reducing and eliminating equipment and tooling downtime and scrap through analytical methodologies, perform preventive maintenance, and assist in fabricating and implementing projects. The role requires maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company guidelines.

ResponsibilitiesSupport production in reducing and eliminating equipment/tooling downtime and scrap using preventive and predictive maintenance.Perform equipment/tooling and facilities preventive maintenance according to the schedule and complete all required documentation.Execute repairs and document activities to achieve a mean time to repair of less than 30 minutes.Assist in fabricating and implementing projects as required.Maintain and monitor a healthy and safe work environment utilizing MSDSs and adhere to company, local, state, and federal guidelines.Document all activities as required.Adhere to company guidelines for emergency evacuation to ensure employee safety.Advise the Department Manager of situations that pose significant risks to the program, product assurance, facilities, employee safety, or customer satisfaction.Initiate actions to prevent nonconformance related to product, process, and systems.Identify and record problems related to the product, process, or system.Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify implementation.Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until deficiencies are corrected.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.2 years of experience in industrial maintenance.1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong analytical skills.Technical understanding of machines and components.Additional Skills & QualificationsOrientation and safety training.Hazardous communication and spill response.Waste manifest and recycle program knowledge.Departmental training and process maintenance.Genie Bloom and High Lo certification.ARC Flash and Bigfoot training.Proficiency in information technology, Outlook, Trans4M Overview, purchase requisitions, quality mission statement, and expense reporting.Work Environment

The work environment involves using hands to handle tools or controls, bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, or crawling. The role requires lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Candidates should be able to tolerate standing for 8 hours or more and have hand-eye coordination. The position involves working at heights, occasional squatting, crawling, and working on ladders or platforms. Less than 5% local travel is required, and a valid driver's license is necessary.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Ubers are $5 per pay period.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Kansas City,KS.
