Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Industrial / Maintenance Technician IIJob Description

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Industrial / Maintenance Technician II to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our packaging lines, ensuring high levels of efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and assist in communicating short-range and medium-range maintenance plans for packaging lines.Coordinate with Maintenance Team Resource Manager to lead maintenance repair on assigned lines.Monitor equipment uptime and maintenance response time, initiating improvement plans when necessary.Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities on production lines.Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with internal teams.Ensure compliance with established standards and procedures, including safety, quality, and sanitation.Communicate, interact, and follow up with co-workers to maintain positive employee partnerships.Determine root cause of equipment failure and implement improvement plans.Determine the best way to accomplish maintenance tasks while minimizing disruption to production.Operate and changeover packaging line equipment as needed.Provide solutions to reduce changeover time and standardize/center line packaging line equipment.Provide electrical expertise to packaging operations and other departments.Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maximize run time.Read and program electrical controls such as PLC, HMI, and Servo.Order electrical/electronic parts and equipment for all departments.Provide packaging technical support, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, changeovers, and repairs.Responsible for assigned department.
Essential SkillsProficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance techniques.Experience with mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics systems.Ability to perform preventive maintenance.Understanding of quality, GMP, and cleaning standards.Adherence to Quality Control Plan and related SOP.Ability to read/program electrical controls such as PLC, HMI, and Servo.
Additional Skills & QualificationsAdherence to ISO internal management system.Capability to present solutions related to quality to leadership.Good housekeeping practices.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
