As a Maintenance Technician at our state-of-the-art beverage co-packing facility in Concord, North Carolina, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our high-speed production equipment. You will oversee the maintenance program, diagnose and resolve equipment issues, provide technical training to team members, and collaborate with external contractors to maintain operational excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair facility equipment, including high-speed fillers, case packers, conveyor systems, palletizers, and water purification/filtration systems, to ensure optimal performance.Oversee the facility’s maintenance program, proactively identifying, analyzing, and resolving equipment or machinery failures.Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment to minimize downtime.Troubleshoot and repair advanced production equipment, including calibration of instruments and systems.Lead and support production line changeovers, enhancing speed and accuracy to meet production goals.Provide technical training and guidance to operators and team members to improve operational efficiency.Coordinate and oversee work performed by external contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including maintenance shops and parts storage areas.Install and troubleshoot new production equipment to support facility expansion and upgrades.Continuously improve preventative maintenance plans and product changeover processes.Essential SkillsAdvanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including 3-phase systems and 480v motor replacements.Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.Strong preventive maintenance skills to ensure equipment reliability.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.Must own a personal set of tools suitable for industrial maintenance tasks.Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks (e.g., bending, stooping), and lift up to 25 pounds.Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for documentation and reporting.Ability to navigate all areas of the production facility safely and efficiently.Reliable transportation or willingness to relocate to Concord, NC, before starting work.Why Join Us?Become a vital part of a cutting-edge beverage co-packing facility that serves premier alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage brands.
