The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventative and general maintenance of production equipment throughout the facility. This role focuses on maintenance and troubleshooting specifically for Swiss Lathes, Mills, or similar machines. We seek experienced candidates with over 7 years of experience. The technician may also perform additional maintenance functions as needed in a clean, climate-controlled facility. This is a 1st shift position with hours from 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with the installation, movement, and disassembly of machinery and equipment.Maintain, overhaul, modify, and repair machinery and stationary equipment.Perform electrical troubleshooting of CNC circuitry using multi-meters and other diagnostic techniques.Ensure operating safety devices function properly after repairs, modifications, and installations.Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and process specifications to guide work.Collaborate with production departments to ensure maintenance requirements are completed timely.Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, practicing 5S principles and continuous improvement.Conduct routine repair work and scheduled maintenance daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Essential Skills4 - 5 years of maintenance experience.Experience troubleshooting PLCs.Ability to work with voltages up to 480V.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.Proven experience following a preventive maintenance schedule.
Additional Skills & QualificationsCNC Maintenance experience is preferred, particularly on Rolomatic, Tornos, Trumark, Mori, and Mazak machinery.
