Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining facility operations and ensuring smooth production for major automotive clients. This position involves working with advanced machinery and robotics in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Responsibilities
Perform facility maintenance work throughout the plant.Ensure production continuity for automotive clients by maintaining equipment.Work on the molding side with 11 presses, including Krauss/Sepro robots.Maintain assembly machines operated by Fanuc robots.Troubleshoot mechanical issues in plastic injection machines, including resin flow systems, thermolators, and water systems.Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including control panels and complex circuits.Utilize a computer-based PM system daily for preventive maintenance tracking.Collaborate with the Controls Engineer for PLC troubleshooting and control panel adjustments.Essential Skills
3-4 years of experience troubleshooting mechanical systems in plastic injection machines.Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including reading electrical drawings and using a voltmeter.Comfortable with computer-based PM systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Robotics background with Sepro/Fanuc robots is advantageous.Experience with PLC troubleshooting, particularly with Siemens systems.Skills in welding, fabrication, and manual machining.Facilities management experience, including plumbing and HVAC.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role is based in a large, well-lit facility off I94, featuring both assembly and plastic injection areas. The plant operates 11 presses with dedicated lines for major automotive clients. The 2nd shift runs from 4pm to 2am, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The work environment is collaborative and focused on high-quality production outcomes.
