Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified, Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all facility equipment to meet or exceed company-established Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) expectations and customer quality expectations.

Responsibilities

Diagnose machines using PLC experience.Troubleshoot techniques to determine exact problems and address them.Utilize control systems effectively.Understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Perform welding tasks, preferably using MIG welding.Interpret drawings to aid in repair and installation.Operate shop equipment such as lathes, mills, drill presses, and hydraulic presses.Install and support equipment.Perform scheduled pre-maintenance tasks and rebuilds to maintain equipment.Comply with company safety regulations, including lockout/tagout and high-lift operations.Maintain punctuality and work week and weekend overtime as needed.Communicate system problems effectively to co-workers and management.Utilize strong computer skills in daily tasks.Lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Essential Skills

Strong PLC experience.Electrical troubleshooting.Maintenance technician skills.Mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge.Blueprint reading and interpretation.Experience with equipment installation and support.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with robotics is a plus.Ability to work various shifts including late nights and weekends.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a dynamic manufacturing facility with shifts available from 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, and 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Wednesday-Saturday. The environment is equipped with advanced machinery and tools, requiring adherence to safety regulations and protocols. Dress code includes company-provided uniforms and personal protective equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Reading, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00/hr.
