Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components of production-related equipment. This role involves ensuring the reliable performance of ingredient handling, milk plant equipment, packaging systems, and storage systems. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of production equipment. + Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks and create follow-up notifications for improvements in the SAP system. + Complete all assigned work in a timely manner, adhering to standards and best practices. + Provide technical training to operators to ensure knowledge transfer and autonomy. + Utilize creative problem-solving skills to enhance equipment performance and optimize production. + Commit to continuous improvement and competency development. + Participate in problem-solving using tools such as BDA and GSTD. + Lead maintenance procedure updates and preventive maintenance optimization efforts. + Review and manage spare parts inventory to maximize technical warehouse service factor. Essential Skills + At least 3 years of industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, preferably in the food industry. + Experience with 120v-480v and 3-phase electrical systems. + Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics. + Ability to read and interpret wire diagrams and schematics. + Competency in using mechanical and electrical tools and diagnostic instruments. + Basic tools and PLC experience, including troubleshooting and reading ladder logic. + Experience with CMMS (Preventative Maintenance Programs). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in automation or robotics. + FDA/USDA experience. + TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) experience. + Basic computer skills, including using Outlook email. Work Environment This role requires working 10-hour shifts, either from 2:00pm to 12:00am or 9:00pm to 7:30am. The work environment is clean and centered around food production, which may involve working in extreme temperatures such as freezers or near ovens. The company provides a supportive atmosphere with veteran technicians for guidance during training. Uniforms are supplied, and there is a strong focus on safety and employee development. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Solon, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $53664.00 - $74713.60/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
