Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technicians at various levels, General Technicians and Senior Technicians. Our team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center's equipment and infrastructure. With multiple shifts available, this role offers a chance to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material-handling and other Distribution Center (DC) equipment.Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and good maintenance practices.Ensure efficient operation of material handling equipment by clearing jams and removing foreign materials.Conduct general building maintenance tasks, including lamp replacement, construction, wiring, and repair of overhead doors and plumbing.Prioritize, coordinate, and schedule work assignments to ensure timely completion of critical tasks.Mentor and train junior technicians, establishing objectives and promoting good maintenance practices.Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on high-tech automated equipment.Maintain a safe work environment by identifying and correcting potential safety issues.Essential SkillsAt least 5 years of maintenance experience in a facility, United States Armed Forces, distribution, or manufacturing environment, or an Associate degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology with at least 3 years of experience.At least 3 years of experience with industrial electricity, including single phase and three phase power, motors, protective devices, and photo sensors.Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic principles, System Control Software (SCSs), and scanners.Experience with electronics such as photo sensors, remote Input/Output modules (I/Os), servo drives, variable frequency drives, and scanning systems.Willingness to climb to high elevations for repairs and lift parts and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.Experience in making financial decisions in the workplace.Demonstrated leadership experience, either directly or indirectly, including cross-functional team leadership.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate’s Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology preferred.Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, hydraulics, mechanical maintenance, and HVAC systems.Skills in PLC troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance repair.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility is a temperature-controlled warehouse with racks up to six levels high. Technicians will need to climb and work on catwalks at higher elevations, ensuring a hands-on and active work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WOODLAND, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $47.00/hr.
