**Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all production and facilities maintenance within a food and beverage environment. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, mixers, and blenders. + Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues. + Repair and maintain lighting and doors. + Install and paint as needed. + Maintain a safe environment in compliance with GMP codes for food and beverage manufacturing. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience in food and beverage manufacturing is preferred. + Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding experience, especially TIG, is strongly preferred. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with excellent benefits including PTO, vision, dental, medical, and 401k matching upon permanent hire. Steel-toed shoes are required. Shifts are available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (1 opening) and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. (4 openings), with a 2-2-3 schedule, working every other weekend. Portions of the facility are climate-controlled. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
