**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair multiple small buildings and vacant properties in the vibrant Wynwood neighborhood. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior areas are kept in good condition and performing various maintenance duties requiring technical labor skills, including basic carpentry, groundskeeping, basic plumbing, electrical work, and more.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare and execute a routine inspection and preventative maintenance plan for all properties.
+ Complete building maintenance, including small to medium repairs, changing lightbulbs and filters, ceiling tiles, painting, and potential repair of drywall, doors, or other building fixtures.
+ Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems, such as air conditioning and boilers, where applicable.
+ Establish and maintain a small inventory of materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and any other relevant items required for efficient and cost-effective property maintenance operations.
+ Supervise outside repair contractors.
+ Install and repair signage and fence privacy screens.
+ Maintain trash and debris-free surroundings around all properties and unoccupied buildings.
+ Pressure clean walkways.
+ Routinely inspect all vacant buildings/lots and maintain their clean and orderly appearance.
+ Respond quickly to time-sensitive items.
+ Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
+ Monitor security around properties to ensure safety.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Troubleshooting skills in electrical, repair, and preventive maintenance.
+ Ability to perform painting, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
+ Strong work ethic with reliability and dependability.
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Must have a personal vehicle for work-related driving between properties.
+ Up-to-date driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.
+ Ability to follow instructions from a supervisor.
+ Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Prior maintenance experience and skills.
+ Plumbing and minor electrical experience preferred, not required.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Miami, Florida.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
