**Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on forklifts, conveyors, slitters, and rollers. Your role will involve routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and carrying out preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. You will identify and address safety concerns throughout the facility and continuously review equipment operations and systems to identify areas for improvement. Solving problems in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions and developing strategies to reduce downtime and increase productivity will be key components of your role. **Responsibilities** + Demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues. + Analyze data and apply problem-solving skills to resolve equipment malfunctions. + Develop and maintain accurate documentation of work orders and maintenance activities. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical Maintenance + Troubleshooting and Preventative Maintenance + Experience in Manufacturing or Industrial settings **Work Environment** Work in a clean, temperature-regulated steel environment within a processing facility for agricultural companies.
