Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficiency of production machinery in a leading battery manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in maintaining safe operating conditions and meeting uptime requirements to ensure uninterrupted production.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure production machinery is maintained in a safe operating condition and meets uptime requirements.Troubleshoot and repair machinery, conveyors, and robotics.Adhere to and implement safety guidelines and procedures at all times.Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Work all shifts up to 12 hours and occasional overtime.Essential Skills8+ years of industrial maintenance experience.Electrical troubleshooting experience, including sensors, relays, and 3-phase, 480v systems.Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.PLC experience.Robotics experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a battery factory that can be hot at times, located in a manufacturing setting. Training is provided on the first shift for approximately 90 days, after which you will move to a night shift. The standard night shift is from 5:45pm to 6:15am on a 2-2-3 schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.80 - $33.70/hr.
