Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair machinery and mechanical equipment, including Haas, UMC 1000, Mazak, and Eurotech CNC lathes, as well as various other CNC equipment, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
ResponsibilitiesObserve mechanical devices in operation to ensure performance aligns with equipment specifications.Perform regular preventative maintenance, maintenance, and calibration of equipment, with mandatory experience on UMC 1000.Understand the setup and operation of lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to maintain and repair such equipment.Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts.Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.Repair or replace defective parts.Install special functional and structural parts in devices.Lubricate and clean parts.Start devices to test their performance.Assist with the dismantling or installation of equipment.Advise on parts needing to be ordered and recommend components for inventory to reduce equipment downtime.Evaluate PLCs, PCs, and servo drives using a multimeter, identifying problems, and repairing or replacing needed parts.Understand electrical schematics.Essential SkillsCNC MaintenanceService and RepairHydraulicsPneumaticsPreventive maintenanceUMC 1000 experienceMazak experienceHaas experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsMust have UMC 1000 Maintenance ExperienceAssociate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Professional written and verbal fluency in English is required.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Why Work Here?

This role is for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 5:30 AM to 2 PM. The work involves using various technologies and equipment in a professional setting.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $83200.00/yr.
