Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team, working from 5 AM to 1:30 PM or until the job is completed. The schedule offers Thursdays and Sundays off. Candidates must be open to a flexible schedule with a significant amount of overtime.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.Troubleshoot malfunctions by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.Identify sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hand and power tools, and examining the form and texture of parts.Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using rules and measuring instruments.Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshooting and maintenance.Experience with PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, and 3-phase systems.Proficiency in working with conveyers, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Strong preventive maintenance skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsFood industry background is preferred.Must have a reference for electrical skills and reliable attendance.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The facility is maintained at a cold temperature of 38 degrees, requiring the use of full personal protective equipment (PPE). You will be working as part of a small maintenance team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
