Our client, a leading player in the automotive industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician
**Location:** Sterling Heights, MI
**Pay Range:** $28.00 to $32.00/HR
**Shift:** 1st Shift – 5:00am to 3:30pm, 2nd Shift – 4:00pm to 2:30am
**What's the Job?**
+ Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machines, building presses, and equipment throughout the plant, including electrical repair and PLC troubleshooting.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
+ Install new equipment as required based on blueprints and layout schematics.
+ Rebuild and/or refurbish equipment including CNCs, presses, conveyors, feed systems, and transfers.
+ Maintain safety, cleanliness, and orderliness in the maintenance department and at machines/equipment while performing work.
**What's Needed?**
+ Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.
+ Experience with MIG and ARC welding.
+ Ability to operate maintenance machinery such as Bridgeport, surface grinder, lathe, and drill press, along with precision measuring equipment.
+ Must possess own tools needed for the performance of maintenance functions.
+ Valid driver's license is required.
