Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Dual Craft Maintenance Technician with a strong focus on electrical maintenance up to 480 volts. This role offers flexibility for candidates with varying levels of experience in electrical work. You will initially train on the day shift before transitioning to a third shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule. This is a non-union facility. **Responsibilities** + Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in warehouse or production areas. + Maintain compliance with food quality and safety standards as per corporate, customer, and governing body requirements. + Report issues with the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to managerial employees to initiate corrective actions. + Perform and complete repair maintenance, preventive maintenance, and line changeovers. + Troubleshoot machinery for electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic malfunctions. + Conduct maintenance on all production supporting equipment such as glycol systems, RO systems, compressed air systems, lubrication systems, and chemical distribution systems. + Apply innovative thinking when troubleshooting equipment to minimize production downtime and ensure food safety, product quality, and personnel safety. + Complete, document, and secure final approvals on all assigned work orders, including recording utilized part numbers for inventory. + Communicate maintenance and production-related information effectively and comprehensively across shifts. + Assist in training other maintenance personnel. + Communicate with production teams during periods of downtime. + Collaborate with adjacent teams to resolve issues rapidly and drive improvement. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in electrical work, troubleshooting, and maintenance. + Experience in mechanical maintenance. + Ability to perform detailed work with attention to visual and sensory details. + Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise control of equipment. + Ability to manage mental stress from deadlines, production quotas, and accuracy demands. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with food safety and quality standards compliance. + Innovative problem-solving skills. **Why Work Here?** Join our team to enjoy comprehensive benefits such as Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Health Savings Accounts, and Flexible Spending Accounts. The work environment requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment, including hairnets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard-toe, slip/oil-resistant shoes, safety gloves, and seatbelts when operating forklifts. The role involves working under pressure from deadlines and production quotas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
