Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with over three years of industrial maintenance experience, including troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through regular maintenance and repair tasks. **Responsibilities** + Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. + Troubleshoot and locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. + Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools, examining form and texture of parts. + Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. + Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. + Control downtime by conducting routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance. + Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. + Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt. + Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. + Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. + Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks. + Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. + Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. + Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience + 3+ years of troubleshooting + 3+ years of preventative maintenance experience + Proficient in reading and writing + Troubleshooting motor and control systems + Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems + Adhere to all quality and safety codes **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields + Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals + Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools + Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills + Solid understanding of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and plumbing + Welding and cutting skills preferred **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including company-paid life insurance, a 401k with company match, and growth opportunities. Employees must be capable of standing for extended periods, lifting at least 50 lbs., and working in restricted or confined spaces. The position follows a 12-hour day, 3-on/3-off rotating schedule as part of a 24/7 operation. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
