**đź”§** **_Job Description_**
As a **_Maintenance Technician_** , you’ll be responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on machinery and building systems. You’ll inspect, clean, and adjust mechanical components, troubleshoot issues using technical documentation, and perform installations and repairs using a variety of tools and instruments.
**đź“‹** **_Responsibilities_**
+ Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on machinery and building systems.
+ Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust motors, belts, drives, gears, and bearings.
+ Diagnose mechanical issues using manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
+ Use hand/power tools and precision instruments for repairs and installations.
+ Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment using hoists, cranes, and tools.
+ Install and align new machinery and mechanical systems.
+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and costs.
+ Order parts and manage inventory levels.
+ Perform general building repairs (painting, drywall, flooring, doors/windows).
+ Operate welding equipment and cutting torches for metal fabrication.
+ Build and maintain wooden structures (benches, partitions, sheds).
+ Maintain specialized equipment across facility areas (kitchen, laundry, office).
+ Install and maintain wiring, electrical equipment, and fixtures.
+ Inspect electrical systems for hazards and wear.
+ Test circuits using multimeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes.
+ Diagnose and repair motors, drives, PLCs, and faulty circuits.
+ Replace or upgrade breakers, transformers, and panel components (480V & 110V).
+ Route wiring through conduit and install electrical boxes, outlets, and switches.
+ Ensure compliance with safety codes and advise on electrical hazards.
**đź§ ** **_Essential Skills_**
+ Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting (low voltage & 3-phase 460V).
+ Ability to read schematics and parts breakdowns.
+ Experience in machine rebuilding and preventive maintenance.
+ Basic knowledge of pipefitting, conduit, mechanical systems, and wiring.
**🎓** **_Additional Qualifications_**
+ Vocational training or equivalent experience.
+ Current electrician’s license preferred.
+ Knowledge of flash arc protection and electrical codes.
+ Ability to safely operate conduit benders and other tools.
+ Experience programming drives and PLCs.
+ Willingness to work overtime as needed.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
