Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician in the corrugated box industry is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of technology to enhance manufacturing processes, quality control, and overall operations. This role involves leading a team of engineers and technicians, collaborating with various departments, and staying current with industry trends and technologies.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair mechanical systems on the corrugated box machines.Conduct preventative care on Saturdays, including lubrication and cosmetic repair.Change relays, sensors, small PLCs, and work on electrical components.Run projects and manage inventory for the department.Essential SkillsProficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Knowledge of motors and corrugated box machinery.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work every Saturday morning to midday.Ownership of basic tools required for the job.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position requires the ability to work multiple shifts, including the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and potentially as early as 6:00 AM or as late as needed. The role may also require coverage for the second shift, which runs from 3:00 PM until finish. The work is conducted in an open bay environment, offering a dynamic and engaging workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hialeah, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $29.00/hr.
