Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance as scheduled daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly using a PM computer system and paperwork. You will be responsible for understanding and executing full equipment breakdowns in any necessary PM event and determining any frequency change in PM structure for the production equipment based on knowledge and experience. You will lead training for team members on all plant-wide PMs and assist in the planning and execution of repairing and/or replacing facility equipment, such as compressors, boilers, and HVAC units. **Responsibilities** + Check electrical room for nonfunctioning components such as VFDs, switches, and breakers. + Perform assigned day-to-day repairs including major plumbing, production lighting, doors, and associated hardware, building equipment, and systems. + Respond quickly to emergency situations like water leaks, power outages, and building alarms, summoning additional assistance as needed. + Perform setup, takedown, and reconfiguration of production equipment and furniture in offices. + Fabricate lines, conveyors, machine equipment, and tools used in the production areas of the facility using tools like band saws, torch, welder, drill press, saws, hand, cordless, and pneumatic tools. + Perform maintenance on machines on the production floor or in the shop due to major breakdowns. + Assist with machine breakdown and assembly during CIP function. + Perform inspections on the functionality of electrical units up to 480V with the use of appropriate tools/equipment. + Determine what combination of wires need to be joined in a nine-lead motor, change out power supplies, and VFD units. + Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, electric pallet jacks, and electric hoists, and conduct minor repairs as needed. + Coach maintenance team members and production operators on basic maintenance and equipment settings. + Maintain a strong partnership with all facility members to achieve production effectiveness in all KPIs. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting + Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams + Skilled in computer technology, electronics, and automation technology + Experience with electrical controls and troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic + Ability to work on first, second, or third shift schedules as needed **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your expertise in maintenance and troubleshooting will be valued and fostered. You will work shifts that may include early mornings, afternoons, or overnight hours, with specific days of work varying between Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. The role includes both office and production floor settings, requiring adaptability and teamwork. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Ontario, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
