**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to work with hydraulic-driven presses used in the production of flexible rubber products. This role requires expertise in modifying, repairing, installing, maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting injection press and auxiliary equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Independently modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of injection press and auxiliary equipment.
+ Diagnose mechanical problems and provide quick, innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns by applying advanced principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metal work, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving.
+ Perform control system analysis and interpret PLC ladder logic diagrams to troubleshoot and solve electrical faults and failures.
+ Maintain plant equipment, including air compressors, chillers, water towers, and fire systems.
+ Support timely and effective line handover between shifts, ensuring proper documentation and briefing on progress/issues.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to program schedules and standards.
+ Train others to handle equipment changeover, setup, and takedown.
+ Recommend and implement solutions to both routine and unique equipment problems, including fabricating or modifying components as needed.
+ Respond to equipment problems in a timely and customer-oriented manner.
+ Maintain high standards of organization and housekeeping.
+ Integrate plant, quality, safety, and security policies into daily activities.
+ Follow maintenance, sanitation, and Environmental Health and Safety protocols.
**Essential Skills**
+ 10+ years of maintenance experience in a Tier 1 environment.
+ 5 years of electrical troubleshooting on industrial machines.
+ 5 years of hydraulic troubleshooting.
+ Ability to navigate PLC to identify issues.
+ Possession of a toolbox.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in stamping, plastic injection, or rubber injection.
+ Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC.
+ Skills in welding or fabrication.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a rubber injection facility with the smell of hot rubber being molded. The facilities are not temperature controlled, so it can be hot in summer and more comfortable in winter. The work area spans three large facilities, each measuring 150,000 to 200,000 square feet.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $74817.60 - $74817.60/yr.
Great benefits, insurance, union facility and annual raises. $.40 every hour worked goes into 401k & $.45 every hour worked goes into Pension plan.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Rochester Hills,MI.
