Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to our growing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with at least 10 years of experience in chemical plant operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage preventive maintenance programs and ensure the smooth functioning of mechanical and electrical equipment.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with the management of the Preventive Maintenance program.Schedule, perform, or oversee the performance of preventive maintenance tasks and log their completion electronically.Perform work safely using proper tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).Troubleshoot and perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment.Troubleshoot electrical and controls equipment, including PLCs.Review new equipment and manage the installation process.Write equipment-related procedures for monitoring and preventive maintenance.Oversee projects for installations and overhauls.Mentor associates with less experience.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical and electrical knowledge.Strong problem-solving skills and technical background.Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.Good understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.Good understanding of electrical safety.Practical understanding of AC/DC motors.Full understanding and practical knowledge of OSHA TAGOUT/LOCKOUT procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift operation.Supervision and warehouse management.Inventory control and troubleshooting.Quality assurance and inspection report skills.Strong knowledge of safe operating procedures.Effective communication skills.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.High school level technical degree or greater.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is primarily indoors with some outdoor exposure for short periods. It is not climate-controlled, but the warehouse maintains a comfortable temperature. The position operates on the first shift, Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with additional hours as needed for breakdowns.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
