Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of high-speed manufacturing machinery within a food production facility. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery, according to diagrams, sketches, and manufacturer specifications.

ResponsibilitiesUtilize hand tools, power tools, precision-measuring, and testing instruments for repairs and maintenance.Disassemble devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists and cranes.Measure parts to determine dimensional changes using rules, calipers, and micrometers.Adjust functional parts and control instruments with hand tools, levels, and straightedges.Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.Install special functional and structural parts in devices using hand tools.Test device performance after repair.Lubricate and clean parts regularly.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, pneumatics, and conveyor maintenance.Ability to troubleshoot issues up to 480 3 phase motors.Experience with high-speed manufacturing environments.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
