Job DescriptionEffectively complete preventive and proactive maintenance per the schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns.Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages while collaborating with other departments.Act as the initial responder when a production line stops and ensure mechanical help is available to quickly resolve issues using electrical and/or mechanical skills.Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize manufacturing downtime.Complete all required paperwork and documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment, including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary.Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters or other testing devices.Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.Support the facility's food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results.Essential SkillsProficiency in conveyors, VFD, PLC troubleshooting, industrial, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance repair.Experience with motors, maintenance technician tasks, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems.Preferred experience with bearings, conveyors, wiring motors 3-phase 480 volts, PMs, rebuilds, and PLCs.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Demonstrated ability to perform mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Ability to work flexible hours if needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsOwn tools required.Work Environment
The work environment includes operating bottling machines, filling machines, labeling machines, carton making machines, palletizers, conveyors, and PLCs. This position requires standing, walking, kneeling, and bending, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
