**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. This includes loaders, shears, grapples, skid steers, forklifts, and tractor/trailers. You will perform daily preventive maintenance and physical duties associated with equipment operation, maintain necessary paperwork, and ensure compliance with PPE requirements. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. + Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment. + Complete necessary documentation including Bill of Ladings, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, and Tool Orders. + Handle conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and PLCs. + Conduct welding, torch cutting, grinding, and weld set-up. + Set up and break down machinery. + Assist operations by occasionally operating balers and heavy equipment. + Make decisions, solve problems, and handle high stress situations calmly and safely. + Work independently in the absence of direct supervision. + Maintain a clean and organized working environment. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair. + Experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Ability to perform preventive maintenance and service tasks. + Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and control. + Understanding of industrial maintenance practices. **Work Environment** You will work in an industrial setting that is loud and dirty, primarily outdoors.
