Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft) to join our team on the 3rd shift from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM in Canton, OH. As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for performing machine repair, facilities maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance in a plastic extrusion environment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform machine repair, facilities maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.Troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery and equipment, particularly in the plastic extrusion field.Work with 480v, single and three phase power, VFD's, sensors, switches, AC/DC motors, and relays.Collaborate on projects, ensuring smooth handoff between shifts by communicating the status of ongoing tasks.Utilize OHMS Law, current and voltage, series parallel circuits, contactors, fuses, DC/AC drives.Learn and adapt quickly in a setting with limited schematics available.Conduct daily tasks including machine repair (30%), facilities maintenance (5%), operating towmotors (5%), maintaining efficient machine operation (10%), troubleshooting (30%), and electrical maintenance (5%).Essential SkillsPrevious industrial maintenance experience.Experience with industrial electricity, including 480v, single and three phase power.High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to develop positive working relationships.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the plastics industry.Skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, injection mold, extrusion, and blueprint reading.Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, schematic interpretation, and preventive maintenance.Knowledge of 3 phase, maintenance repair, industrial welding, and repair techniques.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in a plastic extrusion environment, typically 40-45 hours per week on the 3rd shift from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM. While the work setting can be mildly dirty at times, we maintain a clean facility with separate blending operations. The team consists of six professional technicians, and a cultural fit is important. Be prepared to work extra hours if a machine goes down. Our facility spans 160,000 sq. ft. with 60 employees, and appropriate dress attire includes jeans, t-shirts, and steel toe boots.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00/yr.
