This is a contract to hire opportunity and we're hiring immediately. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of conveyor equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and electrical experience

Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with significant experience in industrial maintenance and motor controls to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary person responsible for preventative maintenance and breakdown support at FedEx facilities, focusing on material handling equipment, conveyors, and electrical and mechanical systems.

ResponsibilitiesConduct preventative maintenance on FedEx facilities, material handling equipment, conveyors, electrical and mechanical equipment.Troubleshoot motor controls and PLC systems, ensuring proper functionality.Address breakdowns and perform general handyman tasks as needed, including changing lights.Collaborate with facility management to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.SkillsMinimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.Proficiency in motor controls and industrial 3-phase power.Ability to troubleshoot PLCs.Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with conveyor systems is a plus.Ability to read wire diagrams and blueprints.Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work is conducted at local FedEx facilities, primarily in NE Philadelphia, West Chester/Exton, South Philadelphia, and Barrington, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
