Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance as scheduled daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly using a PM computer system and paperwork. This role is responsible for understanding and executing full equipment breakdowns during any necessary PM event, determining frequency changes in PM structure for production equipment based on knowledge and experience, and leading training for team members on plant-wide PMs. The technician will assist in planning and executing repairs or replacements of facility equipment, such as compressors, boilers, and HVAC units, and will check electrical rooms for nonfunctioning components. Day-to-day repairs will include major plumbing, production lighting, doors and associated hardware, building equipment, and systems. The technician will respond quickly to emergency situations like water leaks or power outages, perform setup and takedown of production equipment, and fabricate lines, conveyors, and machine equipment using various tools. Maintenance on machines may involve major adjustments and breakdowns, and assistance with machine breakdown and assembly during CIP functions is required. Inspections on electrical units up to 480V will be performed using appropriate tools, including determining wire combinations in motors and changing out power supplies and VFD units. Heavy equipment operation, such as forklifts and scissor lifts, will be part of the role, along with conducting minor repairs to ensure safety and functionality.
