**Maintenance Technician $30-35/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Electrical-Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join our team in southeast Columbus. These positions are available due to company growth and the addition of new weekend shifts. Our company is one of the largest wire and steel fabricators in the United States, manufacturing products like wire mesh decking, fencing, and more. **Responsibilities** + Maintain, repair, install, and troubleshoot production machines. + Follow and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Install and maintain complete production lines. + Research new trends and technologies. + Complete preventive maintenance in a timely manner. **Essential Skills** + Five years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance or three-year technical schooling. + Basic computer and mathematical skills. + Experience troubleshooting PLC programs such as Siemens, S5, S7, ABB, Bosch. + Understanding of control wiring and logic diagrams. + Ability to work overtime as assigned. + Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and stooping might be required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding and fabricating skills. + PLC programming experience. + CNC or robotic maintenance. + Ability to interpret component catalogs. + Proficiency in servo systems and AC/DC drive setup. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan. The facility is non-climate controlled, with various industrial machinery including robotic welders and wire-mesh fencing machines. Multiple shifts operate regularly: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shift (8 hours, Mon to Fri) and 1st & 3rd weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
