**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for organizing and facilitating maintenance production and facility equipment. The role involves electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting, including heights up to 15 feet. You will troubleshoot programmable controllers, electronics, and conduct circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics tasks. You will also utilize electrical test equipment for repair and troubleshooting, repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components, and manage installation, modification, and fabrication of equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules. The position requires troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment such as conveyors, hydraulics, starters, oils, motors, pumps.
**Responsibilities**
+ Organize and facilitate maintenance production and facility equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
+ Conduct circuit analysis and troubleshoot programmable controllers.
+ Utilize electrical test equipment for repair and troubleshooting.
+ Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components.
+ Manage installation, modification, and fabrication of equipment and systems.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on various equipment.
+ Work on all facility machinery and appliances, including toilets and forklifts.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Experience with conveyors, hydraulics, motors, pumps, and starters.
+ Ability to draw a Start-Stop Schematic.
+ PLC and troubleshooting experience.
+ Electrical troubleshooting of motors and connecting motors at different voltages.
+ 70% mechanical and 30% electrical troubleshooting skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Heavy PLC experience and troubleshooting of VFD & PLCs.
+ Diagnose and repair PLCs.
+ Preferred to have own tools.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a non-climate-controlled plant, which can get very hot in the summer due to machinery and weather. The facility operates at high speed and can experience varying temperatures. The maintenance team consists of 10 people, working closely with a total of 50 onsite staff including production workers and forklift drivers. The position is night shift from 5pm to 5am, requiring flexibility as hours may increase. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, a work shirt, and eventually a company uniform.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deer Park, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $37.66 - $37.66/hr.
