**Facility Maintenance Technician** **_Pay_** : $25-$35/hour **_Location_** : Lancaster, PA **_Job Type_** : Full time **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. In this role, you will perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, and operational duties to ensure the hospital's buildings, equipment, and systems function safely and efficiently. This is a long-term opportunity at the Lancaster General Hospital. Shift is Monday - Friday on first shift, with occasional on-call schedule with notice. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. + Respond to general repair requests, including lighting, doors, fixtures, furniture, walls, and ceilings. + Assist with HVAC systems, including filter replacements and equipment checks. + Participate in renovation and construction support, including conduit installation and basic framing and finishing tasks. + Maintain tools, supplies, and workspaces per hospital standards and regulatory guidelines. + Participate in on-call rotation and assist other skilled trade teams when needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience with HVAC systems. + Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs. + Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills. + Knowledge of boiler and chiller operations. + EPA certification. _We are actively screening and interviewing candidates who meet the qualifications for this role.
