**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
A manufacturer specializing in composite pipe production is seeking a skilled multicraft maintenance technician. This role involves performing electrical and mechanical repairs on various equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing drives, limit switches, three-phase electrical motors, E-stop switches, motor starter circuits up to 480V, and 24V DC circuits. Building control panel boxes and pulling wire to equipment is also required. Mechanical tasks include repairing hydraulics, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, and bearings. Light welding and fabrication may be necessary to maintain facility equipment. The equipment includes helical winder machines, conveyors, material handling equipment, and saws. Additionally, the technician will assist with new equipment installations as the company transitions to a new facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical components including drives, limit switches, and three-phase motors.
+ Perform mechanical repairs on hydraulics, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, and bearings.
+ Build control panel boxes and pull wire to equipment.
+ Conduct light welding and fabrication as needed.
+ Assist with new equipment installations during facility transition.
**Essential Skills**
+ 4+ years of maintenance experience.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing drives and electrical motors.
+ Experience with mechanical repairs involving hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Knowledge of 480V electrical systems.
+ Ability to read electrical meters and prints.
+ Welding and fabrication experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with control panel schematics.

**Work Environment**
The work environment consists of a non-A/C open-air shop operating during the 3rd shift, from 10pm to 6am, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
