Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm with flexibility of training on 1st shift and then transitioning into 2nd. The role involves performing general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment, ensuring compliance with Plant and Safety Rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment.Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and general power transmission systems, including belts, drives, sheaves, and chains.Conduct electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks as required.Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, compressors, boilers, and other ancillary equipment.Collaborate with maintenance and production employees to resolve technical issues.Research, select, and order necessary parts and supplies.Adapt to varying shifts, times, weekends, and possible emergency situations.Perform any additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or lead employees.Essential SkillsGeneral maintenance and repair skills.Troubleshooting skills for hydraulic systems and power transmission systems.Knowledge of safety practices within the maintenance field.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in preventive maintenance.Ability to handle physical demands such as standing, walking, kneeling on hard surfaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment involves regular communication with personnel on the production floor. Employees are required to stand, walk, kneel on hard surfaces, and use hands/fingers to handle equipment. The role may require lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and emergency situations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
