Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance and repair of a wide variety of beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment. This role requires strong mechanical skills, including expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, conveyor systems, and PLC usage.

ResponsibilitiesEffectively complete preventive and proactive maintenance per the schedule to prevent breakdowns on equipment.Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages while collaborating with other departments.Act as the initial responder when a production line stops, ensuring appropriate mechanical assistance is available to quickly resolve issues using electrical and mechanical skills.Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize manufacturing downtime.Complete all required paperwork and documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment, including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary.Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters or other testing devices.Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.Support the facility’s food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results.Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.Essential SkillsThree plus years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.Electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair skills.Experience with 3 phase 480V.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematic reading.PLC troubleshooting and electrical troubleshooting skills.480V experience is preferred but not required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position requires openness to a Dupont hybrid shift schedule, including days, nights, and weekends. The current requirement is for a 2nd shift, operating from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM, following a continental schedule (2-2-3).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00/yr.
