**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves the setup, adjustment, maintenance, and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used within our production facility. The technician will observe machines to diagnose malfunctions, inspect and measure parts to detect wear or misalignment, and adjust functional parts to maintain maximum production and quality. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose machine and equipment malfunctions through observation. + Inspect and measure parts to identify wear, misalignment, or other issues. + Adjust functional parts of machine devices and control instruments, including change-overs and running adjustments, to support production needs. + Perform preventive maintenance checks and record data as assigned. + Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts. + Replace worn or defective parts in drive mechanisms or hydraulic systems, ensuring all unused parts are returned and defective parts are disposed of properly. + Start machines and equipment to test operations post-repair and maintenance. + Conduct all tasks following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company policies. + Review production line downtime reports and develop corrective plans with the Maintenance Supervisor. + Ensure safety and quality in all duties performed. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Expertise in hydraulics, mechanical maintenance, and pneumatics. + Proficiency in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Ability to read and interpret schematics. + Experience in the food industry is a plus. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with conveyor systems. + Industrial maintenance experience. + Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k) matching, AD&D insurance, dental and vision insurance, disability insurance, and a flexible spending account.
