The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment, including mixers, conveyors, compressor systems, mills, shakers, packaging systems, pumps, rollup doors, and other miscellaneous repairs.

ResponsibilitiesPerform repair and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, conveyors, and compressor systems.Conduct troubleshooting and repair of equipment issues safely and efficiently.Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.Read and interpret equipment instruction manuals, manufacturing processes, procedures, documents, and drawings.Work with minimal supervision while remaining productive.Operate in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with rapidly changing priorities.Handle amino acids, vitamins, fine chemicals in powder and liquid form, and allergen products.Exercise independent judgment to identify complex problems and implement solutions.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment maintaining equipment and performing repairs.Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues.Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.Skill in reading and interpreting equipment manuals and manufacturing documents.Capability to work with minimal supervision while being productive.Experience working with amino acids, vitamins, fine chemicals, and allergen products.Proficiency in spoken and written English.Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Associate Degree or courses in mechanical or technical discipline preferred.Work Environment

The work environment is manufacturing casual, requiring steel-toe footwear. Depending on the area of the floor, dress may include clean room jumpsuits or lab coats. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.

The pay range for this position is $23.26 - $26.66/hr.
